They have proven to be great brakes. I have a pair, and like them a lot. Just seems to me there's better stuff out there now for high end brake options. Customer is always right though...

All those high end XTR components and the brakes they chose are plain old juicy 7's ? How about some XTR brakes or the new Sram XX brakes?

Just looking out out for you man. I'm sure you will be fine however. Hey!!! Can you do me the hugest favor ever...Norco just did a safety recall on Liz's bike fame...the report is on here on the main page...can you check the serial number on her bike and have her go in and get the bike fixed...the article says you can get it fixed/upgraded at a Dealer....Thanks a bunch man.

Hey man, I hope you had a good ride on Sunday...I look forward to hearing about it and hopefully seeing some pics. Hey man, do me a favor and check out the article on neck braces on here. It's a good article and it kind of hits close to home. Do me a favor and consider buying one in the future along with at least a light duty suit with some more protection. Just switched out the old-school xt for a new shadow xt rear der. Better frame clearance, shifting, and even dropped some weight! Trail tested it this weekend up in Washington (pilchuck tree farm)
