Just saw the comments about Syncline. On New Years we actually did Agony (the top cliffside line) and Little Moab (the rock sections after the fence halfway down). Little Maui or farther to the east side of the meadow about halfway down the hill. It's almost impossible to get lost heading to Agony from where we parked, and you can see the whole way down from the top of Agony.

We did Little Maui! Lil Moab has the rocks on the cliff line. Did we go into Hidden Valley?

Just confirmed that Sea to Sky in Squamish has rooms available for $99 (1-2 people, with each additional person $15 extra) on the 22nd and 23rd if we confirm within the next week...

Thinking about making a Whistler run on Friday the 22nd after work and riding that Sat-Sun. Sound like something you might be interested in? We could just rent a cheap hotel room in Squamish and save some $$$...

Manned-up and sent the Barn Door. Just didn't think about it and followed Pete Donley into it. Was pumped the rest of the ride. That drop is easier than the bypass trail around it. I went all the way to plywood front wheel first and it was still butter.

Gotcha. I might be down for hitting BR or Post Canyon midweek next week. Got a new car (new to me anyway) that I'm not afraid to drive some miles on, so I'm down for some sending it. Have you hit the BR Road Gap yet? You're sending the Stimulator like you own it now. Oh yeah, shoot me your number again. My old phone died a horrid death...

Whats this- NEW DAD? Where's the pics?

robholio wrote
April 15, 2008 at 18:49
So how are you liking being a father? Leaves you little time for anything else, but so worth it.

Got cocky and took my first digger on the road gap last Sunday. Overshot tranny by about 2 bike lengths, went to full compression and blew off the side because I couldn't turn the bike. You forget how much faster the dirt is there when it dries out. I was reminded.

robholio wrote

That would be the one. The left side is open, but the right side that's lipped up is still closed. The left side sends you plenty big already!!

robholio wrote
February 18, 2008 at 20:18
Nice! I hit the road gap again, and hit the Halette drop, too (first time). ET is GI-NORMOUS now and you have to GO FAST to even make tranny. It used to be 20 but call it 15, now it's 25 and call it 25. Oh yeah, it sends you 4 feet higher in the air, too. I'm guessing you probably hit it. The forest gnomes have been busy at Black Rock!

Syncline was great today, too. Still a little snow to the trail head, but once you hit the top it was clear to the bottom. Fun day, indeed!!

Because most of those were "PRICELESS!" Did you pay the $18 bucks to get in? Was it worth it? Next year I might be working the show for Brodie's Handmade line...www.brodiebikes.com hired me. I'm about to sign the contract.
